Small Shop. Serious Craft.
CarvedLight Studios isn’t a factory. We’re a tight-knit team of makers who genuinely care about what we put our name on. From the first test run to the final inspection, every piece that leaves our shop has been touched — and obsessed over — by someone who takes craftsmanship personally.
We started because we believed the market was full of decorative pieces that looked good on day one but didn’t hold up over time — warped boards, prints that faded, edges that were “close enough.” We knew we could do better, starting with the wood itself: boards we hand-select and build to become heirlooms, not decor with an expiration date. That same conviction carries through to every custom laser-engraved and CNC relief-carved piece we make.
Today, every single order that comes through our door gets the same attention we’d give a piece made for ourselves. That doesn’t scale the easy way. We’re okay with that.
Ready to Ship & Built to Order
Our UV-printed pieces are ready to ship right now — finished, inspected, and in hand. Each one is printed in full color on wood we hand-select specifically for longevity, with the boards locked together by interlocking joints instead of glue alone, so it resists warping and bowing over time. These are made to be heirlooms, not decor that fades.
Laser engraving and CNC relief carving are made to order. Whether it’s a name, a date, a signature, a hand-drawn sketch, or a logo that means everything to someone — we’ll translate it into a permanent mark or carved piece that’s exactly what you envisioned. We work with you on the details: placement, depth, material choice, and finish. We don’t just execute instructions; we collaborate until it’s right.
UV printing lays down crisp, opaque color directly onto the surface. Laser engraving burns permanent lines with no ink, paint, or adhesives — just precision light and heat. CNC relief carving adds real physical depth into the material itself. Three processes, each used where it belongs.
How We Work
Consult
You share your idea — a name, date, sketch, or file. We talk through the details: what material works best, how the design will read at size, and what finish will last.
Prepare
We don’t just load a file and press go. Every design is reviewed, adjusted, and tested on scrap material before we touch your piece. Precision is planned, not assumed.
Inspect
Every finished piece is examined under close scrutiny — depth, alignment, clarity, edges. If something isn’t right, we don’t ship it. We make it again. Simple as that.
Deliver
Packaged carefully and shipped with tracking. When it arrives, it should feel like something worth keeping — because that’s exactly what it is.
“Good Enough” Isn’t
We believe the things people keep — the cutting board passed down in the family, the keychain that’s been on every set of keys for a decade, the tile that hangs on the wall long after the occasion that prompted it — deserve to be made with real intention. We’re not here to fill orders. We’re here to make things worth keeping. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to, every time, with every piece, for every customer who trusts us with something that matters.
